We are contemplating a number of variations for a few of the cars in the first project. These will include early Amtrak paint and lettering options and Montana Rail Link business car number 102 (evolved from SP articulated chair car).
We have the construction drawings back for the first twenty passenger cars for review. These cars will be fantastic they will include an all new LED constant lighting system. Remember most of these cars have “never” been produced before.
We have submitted research packages to our builder for the first 20 passenger cars and the 60’s San Joaquin and Coast Daylight making up our first project. We will be sending out reservation packages to each of our dealers in April. If you are interested in any of these models please ensure your dealer lets us know. Thanks
All models currently under consideration by UTI will be HO scale.
Union Terminal Imports has reached an agreement with Boo Rim Precision Company to produce our passenger car projects. Boo Rim has produced examples of many prototypes for the premier distributors of bass models world wide. (more…)

The HO Scale 1960’s Coast Daylight and San Joaquin Daylight cars will be finished as accurate for the prototypes. Some will model the smooth stainless steel sides with paint where appropriate and others will be painted solid simulated stainless steel.
A friend has pointed out an overlooked version of SDP45 that we will be producing in this production run. UTI 5003 has been added. It represents two prototypes that were rebuilt and retained their steam generators for executive (more…)
